Anyone got a full copy of OziExplorer that they wanna share ? :D

McKev
Share as in steal you mean?
--

Noooooooooooooooo..Share as in "share".

McKev
OziExplorer is SHAREware. Last time I looked it vas USD 85, and worth
every penny!

I know it is..hence me asking if anyone is willing to share :)

McKev

Try the 'free' version, and then I think you will agree that the USD85
is money well spent. I bought it in 2002, have used it most days
since, and am STILL entitled to free upgrades to the latest version !
I make that 8c a day !!
Make sure the free version works for you, then buy it - the feeling of
honesty is worth a measly 50 quid.

Jim Hutton

I'll share! That is, I'll share Jim's enthusiam for OziExplorer and the
extraordinary support given users by the Ozi crew. A mere upgrade of a
Microsoft office program would cost far more that the purchase price of
Ozi,
and you don't get a bunch of feature packed free updates from Microsoft!
I
bought Ozi version 1.(something) years ago, and I have enjoyed all the
features of the newest version for all those years. Hope Des isn't
reading
these...

Now - how do you "share" software. I'll use in Monday, but not Tuesday,
and
you use it Tuesday, but not Monday? Buy it second-hand after you swear an
oath that it has been removed from the first owner's computer? Naa -
sounds
a lot like I'll use it on my PC and you use the same copy on yours. And
that's piracy. This group is pretty sensitive about supporting good GIS
system software.

I admit I am not a saint, but if feels good to pay for OziExplorer and
OziCE. And also for Russa and Cgpsmapper. These software developers
need financial support for helping those who lack a sense of
direction...

Rififi

Hey - it could be worse - ESRI could be your only choice and then we are
talking some really big $$ for far more capability than I need. For the
price, Ozi gives you a lot of functionality. When one avoids paying for
software, especially stuff as relatively cheap and well supported as Ozi,
you discourage those writing some really good applications. Thus, if you
want Ozi's capabilities, you should pay for the program.
