Re: Any reviews on the new garmin 60Cx series versus the 60C

I used an external antenna (Gilsson) for a year or so with a 60Cs. I
have run several experiments with the 60Csx under heavy forest canopy
and have come to the following conclusions:

1. The 60Csx without an external antenna is almost as good as the 60Cs
with an external antenna.

2. The 60Csx with an external antenna is somewhat better than the 60Cs
with an external antenna.

I am quite pleased with the 60Csx. The firmware as regards waypoints
and custom POIs is lacking some features, but I hope it will improve.

In short, I don't regret buying a 60Csx.

My biggest problem with 60csx is lack of standard waypoint icon (square red
with square whole) # 00018. There is not one small waypoint icon available
in 60csx suitable for the route. If I create route in Fugawi or mapsource
and transfer it to 60csx I get this huge blue flags as waypoints. My topo
Canada maps get totally covered by this ugly huge flags. It seams that this
flags are default icons for the route. Rudy.

Are there any people with real world experience with the X units? Any
