TomTom Go 700

I've seen several recommendations for the user friendliness of TomTom
Go xxx.

I've also seen one or two comments regarding the maps used as being
out of date, but I'm not sure to whether this itself is out of date
information!

I want one for the UK & Europe and my question is: If I bought a new
700 tomorrow, would the maps be reasonable up to date?

TIA,

JohnK
