In order to track (as a passenger) the current position of an airplane I could

Did someone already tried this out ?
To be clear: I am not talking about a small Cessna but a big BOEING or Airbus
Sure it works. I've just tried it on my two recent trips over the
Pacific on international flights as well as in the US on domestic
flights. The key is to have a window seat and hold your unit next to
the window for an extended period of time. After my last few flights, I
am thinking of making a little suction cup hanger for my Vista Cx. I've
made a complete route record of my recent IAD-BOS flight. It was fun
matching all the ground features to that on the GPS map.
