Yet another possible bug in CSx fimrware/hardware: No reconnect!

Yesterday evening I drove about 160 km from Oslo to Porsgrunn along E18, a road that goes through 8-10 tunnels.

Three or four times when passing those tunnels, after losing sat lock for so long that the GPS complained, it failed to reacquire when we left the tunnel: Watching the GPS screen I could see how it reacquired a bunch of satellites a few seconds after exiting the tunnel, then a fraction of a second later it suddenly lost all of them, and would then stay indefinitely (i.e at least more than 5 minutes before I gave up and did a full power-off/power-on reset) in this state, never gaining back any of the sat channels.

I have now re-applied the 2.60 firmware instead of the 2.62beta which I've been using until now, I'll report back if/when I get any different results.

Terje

PS. I also had a Quest sitting side-by-side with the 76CSx, the Quest GPS with the garmin engine reacquired the current position within 10 seconds of leaving each tunnel.
