Re: City Navigator Instalation Prob

Trying to install City Navigator on a different PC.
Installed NA v7 update DVD ok. SP 2620 works
ok. Now trying to install CN NA v7 MapSource
on the same machine. The install window opens,
click on install and the next screen and it then
starts installing the files but it runs 6-8 hours,
loads a bunch of maps and then stops. It is not
the DVD drive, I tried another one with the same
results. It is not the disk, I loaded it on another machine with no problems. I am either doing something
wrong or my PC is missing a file or something else
is busted.

Any ideas?

6-8 Hours???? Does it take this long to load on the PC that works?

If not, it sounds like there might be something wrong with the DVD player on the problem PC. DO you have any other DVD based software that you can try?
