Re: remote connection to eTrex Legend

Hi, is there any way to connect to the eTrex legend using the data port
on the back, to scroll thru or do the usual button input?
I use the gps on my bike and it would be convenient to have a small set
of buttons wired to the port.

I don't believe so. Certainly there's no documented way. In Garmin's
interface guide it's strictly for data transfer only.
