I am trying to find out if it is possible to recieve SBAS corrections
in Southeast Asia?
Hello Alan,
My location is Taiwan, I can receive MSAS signal with Garmin Legend,
PRN number 42 and 50. You can refer
http://www.kasc.go.jp/MSAS/index_e.html for signal broadcasting time.
Yes, It perform differential correction, if enable WAAS,satellite
strength bar will have a "D".
The estimated error didn't improved, and even worse, sometime it will
be 40m to 70m. If I disable WAAS, the estimated error is 6m to 9m
normally. Not sure if it's becuase MSAS is still in testing or
something else.
Hope this help.
