The key is whether SiRF has decided to make use of the WAAS test
corrections from 48 and 51. Whereas Garmin has control of this firmware
when they used their own GPS chipset, it's not the case with Garmin's
SiRF-based products.

With regards to SNR, it's more important to SiRF to track anything they
can rather than be concerned with accuracy.
