I found this too. Create some waypoints along the route with mapsource
and download the waypoints and route to the Garmin. Use this route to
(re)calculate with the gps.

Interesting is, that mapsouce and the gpsmap 60csx calculates different
routes, ok there are different options for motor cycles, trucks ...

The routing function in mapsource may be for models without routing
function.
