More EGNOS testing: Still not quite right?

Last weekend I was back at the seaside cabin where I've previously done some ESTB/EGNOS tests, this time I tried three GPSs:
My old Garmin 76S, a Quest and a new 76CSx.
The 76S had no problems finding the EGNOS signals, and after 1509 samples (one every 10 seconds) over a period of 4+ hours, the stats were nearly as good as my best results from last year:
67% within 1.2 m
90% within 1.8 m
95% within 2.2 m
99% within 2.7 m
The single worst sample showed an offset of 3.4 m.
My Quest have just gotten the latest firmware, v4.0 from 7 Aug, it never managed to lock onto any of the EGNOS sats at all. :-(
The 76CSx with SirfSTAR III hardware did get EGNOS parts of the time, but did not seem to be quite as stable as the 76S. :-(
