In regards to falsely advertising the garmin 2720 for 499.00 plus a 100.00 e-rebate, in this weeks flyer, CompUSA offered to accommodate me with a Garmin Streetpilot C330 GPS for 399.99 plus a 100.00 e-rebate. Is this a good price for this unit? How much difference in "bells and whistles" compared to the 2720 model am I going to miss? Is this c330 any good for the investment. I notice it says it has audio prompts. When I had the 2720 model it had text to speech. Whets the difference. Also, is Magellan or tomtoms product any good? Again, I am looking for something small, that is portable for my vehicle and company truck to use for street location all over CT. Don't want to spend too much seeing I can't insure the product nor get a reimbursement from my employer. Any recommendations? thanks group.
I'd look at reviews at gpsinformation .. and also prices elsewhere.
It looks like the 2720s have been discontinued and the chances of finding that unit are about zero.
Personally, I'd stick with Garmin.
Phil
