I know I asked this awhile ago about calibrating the screen.
I'm stuck with whenever I press the screen it registers to the left of
my finger. I can't get the letters on the far right edge of the
screen when i try to spell something out.
I've been content to use the remote routinely and just now have it
indoors with the instructions someone provided.
I did the Menu/Display/Find and followed the instructions, pressing
the moving dot.
All I get is the message:
Calibration Failed
Follow the on screen
instructions to calibrate
touch screen
press find to begin
I do and go through the same process.
now what do I do?

David
I am having the exact same problem with my 3 year old SP2610. I
contacted Garmin and they said touch screen is failing. Repair cost was
something like $225 and it essentially replaces my GPS with a
refurbished unit.
