Simply download 4.97 mb file,run the file on the top of your older version of webupdater and that's it. there is nothing to unzip,file is exe.

You don't understand. This may work for YOU because you running a english Windows. With German windows (maybe other language versions too...) the installer crash and you cannot finish the installations. If this happen you must do the tricks described before.

It seems that Garmin do only one US test and dont check out the other supported languages. The defect file is still in place on the Garmin server. Garmin ignores reports.

I had problems letting MapSource update itself to the latest version, so I downloaded the update and installed it myself.

I can see that WebUpdter also detects the update, and offers to download it by itself. But you can also download the update yourself.

Have you tried both?
