THREE GLONASS SATELLITES LAUNCHED
Russia successfully launched three Glonass satellites on 25 December
from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The three spacecraft are
upgraded to provide a second civilian navigation channel and increased
accuracy and life.
Status information on Glonass is located at:
http://www.glonass-ianc.rsa.ru/pls/htmldb/f?p=202:1:17726299021767719776
I prefer Sam's self-moderated postings to subscribing to yet another
list.
That said, when will there be a civilian receiver with both GPS and
GLONASS capability for sale in the US?
