I had a Garmin Emap and really liked it. But unfortunatly I lost it (left
it on top of the car), who knows where it is now. Dang that was stupid!
Anyway, I would like to replace it. What is a good replacement, I would
like to stay with Garmin since I have several of their maping programs.
Things I liked about the Emap.... I thought it was fast to lock onto
satellites, had a big display for maps. Fairly light weight.
Or, should I just look for another Emap? Of course it would have to be used
since they don't make them any more.
Thanks for any help.

I still use my emap as well. What it lacks is memory capacity and WAAS.
[I have a nav in the car, so I don't need the features of the newer
GPSs. That is, I only use mine for hiking.] If Garmin used a 3d
compass, I'd upgrade.
Don't forget to check Craigslist if you live in a metropolitan area. At
least you can see the condition of the unit.
