The handheld Garmin receivers I have all support "Garmin DGPS", which is
for connecting to Garmin differential correction devices and an RTCM
interface for those devices that send SC-104 format data.

The 12XL is a pre-WAAS receiver but supports RTCM.

I don't know about the automotive receivers.
