Um, those are little computers with builtin gps running a sw pkg. I
think the OP was asking about standalone gps receivers that might do

They are dedicated GPS receivers!
It is interesting to note that Trimble's suggested TERRASYNC sw
"Displays background images in map screen, including satellite
imagery, aerial photos, and images from ArcIMS and Open GIS Internet
map servers ".
However, I'd expect that no one here will be impressed with the costs
involved when comparing to a regular handheld with maps.
These mapping and GIS receivers do get the job done with high
productivity. Freely available and custom mapping and imagery are
an integral part of the GPS/GIS world.
