You seem to be the only one here who fails to see my distinction, so
why don't you go back and read it again. Why should I restate the
point because YOU fail to see it?

By your logic, if I take my Toshiba notebook, stick a GPS CF card in
it, start up Ozi or TrackMaker or whatever, and hold in in my hand,
then it becomes a dedicated handheld gps receiver that can display
raster maps.

How stupid is that?
