Does any manufacturer make a GPS receiver -- yet -- that lets you upload
your own image file (like a scanned map) to use as the background map?
Thanks for your help.
Some of the professional mapping receivers allow user suppled
geo referenced images (DRGs and ortho quads) in jpg and other
formats.
Hi Sam,
Could you please give one or 2 examples of receivers that do this?

The Bushnell ONIX 200 allows you to overlay a satellite image,
aerial photo, or topograhic map over the built-in base map.
The ONIX 200 CR adds a color screen.
