WWMX Location Stamper is free from wwmx.org. It compares the digital photo
timestamp in the .jpg EXIF data to a tracklog and adds the nearest (in time)
location from the tracklog to the EXIF data. Caution --- it may also
re-write some other EXIF data. The best I recall was that some
Nikon-specific EXIF info went away with WWMX, so try it only on a few photos
first to see if it erases EXIF data that you want to keep, or duplicate
pictures or back-up the EXIF data prior to use of WWMX.
There are also software packages that will place an image shortcut icon on a
map showing the tracklog. I have used TopoFusion and Terrain Navigator Pro
to do this.

What is the best method to synchronize my location on a Garmin 60 with
a digital photo? Going to be traveling on a bike taking pictures and
want some way of matching photo with location.
Of course, I can write down the geo coord every time I shoot a picture
and then record the direction I was facing but would like something
easier.
