What is the best method to synchronize my location on a Garmin

taking pictures and want some way of matching photo with
location.
Of course, I can write down the geo coord every time I shoot a
picture and then record the direction I was facing but would
like something easier.
I do it simply by logging a track on my rides and hikes, then
comparing the time stamp in the photo's EXIF data with the track
points' times. The GPS clock is, of course always correct. My
camera's clock drifts less than a minute in three months, so keeping
them in sync is easy. One could also create a waypoint at each photo
stop, but this one would often forget.

Fred,
WHere in the 60CSx do I find the track points' times?
Doug
I expect to be in Missoula on 10 Aug. Hope you are there.
As a user of Ozi Explorer I have an addon called OziPhotoTool.
http://www.oziphototool.com//
OzPhotoTool takes the digital photos with EXIF metadata, and tracks that have
been downloaded to OziExplorer to determine where the GPS was when the photo
was taken. As long as the GPS was in the same location as the camera this
represents the location of the photo. OziPhotoTool outputs the linkage between
the photo and its location by creating an OziExplorer waypoint file,
generating map features on OziExplorer maps, watermarking the photos,
embedding location information in GPS EXIF tags, generating HTML output, or
creating GoogleEarth kml/kmz files so you can share you photo locations.
