I have two iQue 3600s. Been using them for over four years.
I just got the DVD with the City Navigator 2008 upgrade.
I called Garmin with some questions about unlocking. The tech guy told me
that
you now need a separate unlock code for each GPS. That's $150 for an
upgrade to
my two IQs.
Used to be that each unlock would work with two units. The guy said that
had
changed in May.
What gives?
There's not much to say about it. They changed their policy as the guy
said. Only one unlock per customer per CN NA 2008 update. I assume the
reason is to extract more money from their multi-GPS customers.
