There are three versions of the .gdb files... For example,
MS v. 6.11.5 can only recognize (and save) versions 1 and 2,

One has to save .gdb files in the version that their
MapSource can recognize... When saving files, look at the
dropdown menu under "Save as type"...


Yes, and if you use nRoute, it will only accept V2 .gdb format while
the latest mapsource 6.13.1 defaults to V3, so you have to do a "save
as" to get the right version to input into nRoute.
