GPS Problem

Hi,

I have NavSync CW19 GPS Receiver which connects to the computer via
USB. I am using a driver to convert the USB to COM. I have written a c+
+ application to read the GPS data from the COM port. I am decoding
the GPGGA command to get the lat, lon, fix and the no of satellites.
According to the description GPGGA command gives the no of satellites
used in the fix, but in my case even though the command outputs no of
satellites as 4-10 its not getting a fix i.e, the fix field is '0'
which indicates there is no fix. I don't understand what is happening.
Can anybody tell me what is the problem.

Thanks
