There is. Download the latest update version, free from the Garmin
site. It requires Windows XP or later and an installed MapSource

Since Garmin have removed real-time tracking from the later versions, I
wouldn't bother as you will also need to download NRoute to achieve your
objective.

Just use your old version of Mapsource, it's far better than the new
versions.
