There is. Download the latest update version, free from the
Garmin site. It requires Windows XP or later and an installed
MapSource program.

Since Garmin have removed real-time tracking from the later
versions, I wouldn't bother as you will also need to download
NRoute to achieve your objective.

Just use your old version of Mapsource, it's far better than
the new versions.

Dennis, this is true for those who do not want the several features
added in new versions, nor the support for newer receivers, but do
want the tracking feature that Garmin removed to NRoute. James did
not say what version he has, but whatever was current seven years
ago probably did not include the automatic route generation that he
wants.

James, there is nothing to prevent re-installing the old one if the
updated version does not suit.
