Many GPS receivers are stolen every month

I see police reports in my area each month and there are GPS receivers
stolen. This is not a high crime area, but is an area with many GPS
receivers. Please do not leave your GPS receivers visible in your car.
They are very obvious when mounted on the dash or windsheild.
Vehicle Burglary
On 2/07, between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through the driver side door of a vehicle that was parked and took a
GPS device and satellite receiver from
inside the vehicle. The taken items had a total approximate value of
$600.
Vehicle Burglary
Between 4:45 PM and 6:50 PM on 2/14, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through a passenger side window on a vehicle that was parked at TGI
Friday's and took a GPS Device that had an approximate value of $225.
Vehicle Burglary
Between 7:30 PM and 9:19 PM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through a driver side window on a vehicle that was parked near Sears
and took a GPS Device. The GPS Device had a value of approximately
$400.
Vehicle Burglary
Between 1:15 PM and 9:00 PM on 2/16, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through the front driver side window of a vehicle that was parked in
the Sears parking lot and took a GPS device from the
vehicle. The GPS device had an approximate value of $500.
