Is there any SatNav equipment out there that will allow the user to
manually set reminders to do something at a certain location (e.g. a
reminder to buy the milk, or whatever, when you go past the local
shop!!)? Someone has told me that the TomTom GO 920t will do this,
but I haven't been able to find any confirmation of this.
Can anyone recommend a device to do this?
Thanks.
Sounds like what marine navigation GPSs call "proximity waypoints". Mine
don't have that feature (too old/basic!) so I don't have experience of its
use...
