Sorry to hear that. Been a while since I used a GPS II but assuming it os on COM1, are you sure no other application (such as your flight planner) is still active and hogging the COM port? Have you tried a reboot?
I did ALL ...but never succeed. Then I did the test with my Flight Planner to be sure that it wasn't a hardware problem. As I did my
last update 2 years ago ...I hadn't any problem.
Now I am really angry against Garmin... not answering my emails.
Then I sure never want to buy another Garmin during my life ;-(
