It should work if the antenna's got an MCX connector on it, but here's
the thing: The antenna is powered by the GPS. The MMII uses 2.5VDC to
5.5VDC, and it must come from the nuvi, but there's no spec I see that
assures me that the nuvi provides the right voltage range.

Hard to imagine the GPS won't deliver voltage in that range, though.
It ought to work. And if it doesn't, you won't have hurt the GPS.
