Does anyone out there have any direct experience with GPS malfunctionsCould it be simple interference. There are several spectrum users

quite near the GPS band, Inmarsat L-Band is one such.
Don't recall the publication, but there was an article about 3 or 4
years ago that detailed folks tracking down interference sources in some
Northwest marina. In both cases they were GPS units installed on boats
that had developed some malfunction, and were just sitting there powered
on much of the time.
There was this article from GPS World in '03 dealing with interference
observed in the Monterey, Calif. area. But the source of interference
was the preamp circuit of an active television antenna.
