NIKON IMG format

Dear all,
I work in a library for read diferent image standars. Do you know how I can
read a Nikon img picture?, I dont know how and i had no find any library or
source code as example.
Any idea?

I have a Fuji Finepix 2800Z which has a 2mb sensor and choice of eye level digital viewfinder or back screen, but the drawback is that the response time is sometimes much slower than a true SLR, and the viewfinder image and focusing can be crap in poor light. ...
