Hi there,

I am trying to use NIH Image 1.61, to overlay two images, but I am a
bit stumped as to what the function is called.

A colleague of mine told me, that it was possible to use the
application, to take one image, mark a certain point in the image, take
another image, mark a similar point in that image, and then ask the
application to calculate how to align the two images on top of each
other, so you can see the differences in the two images.

Does this make any sense, or am I asking the application to do
something it can't?

If you have any suggestions as to what application might be able to
perfom this function, please don't hesitate to answer.

Regars, Maria
