Hello bret,

I really can't explain you the compatibility but anyway Adobe
Photoshop does not
seem to handle mutli-layer tiff images. You'd rather use The Gimp for
that
since it can open ImageJ tiff stacks.

Unfortunatly I couldn't do the other way Saving Gimp Tiff --> Opening
in ImageJ the tiff stack
since The Gimp does not save multi layer tiffs so it flatten the
layers at save time.

Someone correct me, but there is no standardized multi-layer tiff
format.
Anyway take care of image processings of Adobe Photoshop since it
doesn't even provide
full Jpeg compression options (quality 0 to 10 whereas JPEG quality
goes from 0 to 100).

Have a good day,
Rod.
