I am working on a image processing library. It would have many
features for image adjustments i.e. tints, color temperature,
saturation, fill/shadow light adjustments. But being a programmer, I
don't know much about this stuff. I have been able to implement
methods for basic color adjustments (brightness, contrast, channel
adjustments etc) but not the ones I mentioned earlier.
I wanna add features like the ones in Adobe Lightroom and Apple
Aperture, but can't find algorithms for certain effects, does anyone
know of a good book/website that talks about that stuff or better off
be willing to help me directly?
Thanks!
Why not contributing to an existing image processing library instead
of rewritting lot of such stuffs ?
There are plenty of open source libraries that would be happy to get
interesting contributions.
Plus, I'm not sure that it would be very easy to code advanced image
processing techniques is you have only few knowledges on image
processing. I guess working from a solid basis should be the easiest
way to learn, then contribute to this field.
