Exact features matching from two aerial photos - for change detection

I have two black/white aerial photos (A and B) that were taken at
different dates and angles. Both scenes were registered covering the
same extent of a neighborhood and have the same size.
For an automated change detection, I wish to transform all separate
features (e.g. roofs, roads, trees) from scene A to scene B, and
visualize the matching degree for each of all features. In this local-
level affine transformation, every feature in scene A should be
projected and repositioned based on scene B, pixel by pixel. Because
of the difference in shooting angles with original photos, some
features such as very tall buildings have major shadows in scene A
while little in scene B; this poses a unique challenge for auto change
detection at features level.
Have you come across any existing methods and/or tools for this type
of task? THANKS.
