Could you provide a link to a description of the method that does not
require a paid subscription?
TIA

Bob:
It doesn't require a paid subscription.  I just went to the first link
at the bottom of that page (the Nature Photonics link), and then
clicked "Download PDF" and got the full article describing the method,
complete with diagrams and everything.  I didn't pay a cent.  Here it
is again:http://www.nature.com/nphoton/journal/vaop/ncurrent/pdf/nphoton.2007....

hmm you personally don't pay a cent, but maybe your university does
pay for the subscription..- Hide quoted text -

hakase:
No, but luckily your speculation is wrong.  I just did it again from a
different computer - my home computer - and the PDF file popped right
up - full with all text and diagrams.  I didn't type a single
character, no name, no organization, no credti card number, not a
single key.  You didn't click on the link to the PDF document I gave,
did you?

I don't know if he did, but I did - and got "page not found".

I did too this time. It looks like they took down the article. Gotta
act quick in this business!
