Re: semantics of exif tags

Hi all,
thanks for answers. Well, I found both of those pages before - they
provide the same information... But I am still no wiser. What is
destination when taking photos when not the subject? Isn't it the same
as imgDirection? I understand that an Image can have a direction, but
a destination?? I thought it is some sort of naming inconsistency.
Otherwise, I have no idea what it could be. Any "best practice"?
Thanks
Martin

Hello all,
could anyone please clarify the semantics of the following exif gps
tags, GPSDestBearing and GPSImgDirection?
I need to fill azimuth under which the image was taken, which seems to
fit GPSDestBearing,
It does? What has the bearing (direction)
of the destination to do with images?
but could possibly fit GPSImgDirection, too.
Any idea?
30 seconds with Google brought up:
http://www.awaresystems.be/imaging/tiff/tifftags/privateifd/gps/gpsim...
which states:
TIFF Tag GPSImgDirection
Description
Indicates the direction of the image when it was captured.
The range of values is from 0.00 to 359.99.
Done.
That's a TIFF tag, not an Exif tag.
This seems better:
