image processing for medical diagnostic tuberculosis/bacterial

Hello everybody,

I'm a student and for my schol I need to devellop a program which is
able to diagnosis tuberculosis or bacterial infection. I have a couple
of pictures of pulmons with the different sickness and explanation to
help the diagnosis.

The point is that i really don't know how to do so if someone can help
me. I'm ready to work hard, but i need a guide line coz i'm loose in
front of my screen =)
