how to know the focus parameter for Canon EOS 30D camera

Hi everyone,
I have to do some image processing experiments with a Canon EOS 30D
camera.

It's better to know the parameters when I take the photo.

But I find that there is no parameter for the focus (I used manual
focus).

Does anyone know how to retrieve the parameter?
