Does anyone know how to retrieve the parameter?
As Jan Bruijns said you can use exif information of a picture. Or if
you want to know more than focal length (but also a aspect ration,
radial distortion, skew and so on), you should calibrate your camera.
You can do that for example with Matlab Calibration Toolbox (http://
www.vision.caltech.edu/bouguetj/calib_doc/) or with GML Calibration
tool (http://research.graphicon.ru/calibration/gml-c-camera-
calibration-toolbox-5.html).

Hi everyone,
I have to do some image processing experiments with a Canon EOS 30D
camera.
It's better to know the parameters when I take the photo.
But I find that there is no parameter for the focus (I used manual
focus).
Does anyone know how to retrieve the parameter?
bests,
