You should know better than to ask questions like that - someone
might actually answer.
Sakura is a her, and it's not half bad as anime goes.
Or to put it another way a fair bit under half the series _was_
bad. (I stopped watching at around episode 46 and picked it
up again at around 68). It's your basic 'collection' type anime
with typically one major battle per episode and it rates about
8.5 out of 10 on the fluffy-ometer. The implementation was
quite good but one of the main characters was so intensely
annoying that I just couldn't take it (no prizes for guessing
about when that character came on-stage). It's 'well known'
in certain circles for alleged paedophilic tendencies but
that's very firmly a "mind of the beholder" thing.

See? You've got the plot already. Although frankly the reason
behind the plot was pretty flimsy.
