Well, lets see.
Open Office 1.0, "Writer"
Format.Page, "Page" tab. Change writing direction to "Right to left
(vertical)"
Paste in some text, witness 縦書.
Hrm, if you dont see this, try "Options.Settings", goto "Language Settings.
languages" and make sure Asian Language Support is enabled.
