        Missed what point? I was just showing (I know it's hard to show an
interactive process in text) that I could take kanji that I copied and
had OS X convert it to hiragana, and to romaji.

        BTW, it doesn't look like you're sending in Unicode. All your kanji
and hiragana come across as "$B;d()()($$7B$#" etc.
