I'm still using tin in a kterm, linked to a JISified version of vi
as an editor. It's the environment I've been using on SLJ for a decade
or so, and it used to work fine for all Japanese postings.
When I get the time and energy I'll see if I can crank up the latest
UTF8-capable version. I greatly prefer a traditional text-oriented
news reader to a browser.
