Annotated non-jouyou kanji list

I think that kanji lists are always more helpful with vocabulary
examples, and IMO this is even more true the rarer a kanji is -- when
you go beyond the Jouyou list you no longer get a list of "approved"
readings, and generally the rare kanji are only used in a very limited
set of circumstances (often one word makes up 99% of the uses). But
it can be difficult just from looking at dictionaries to know which
words are more common than others.

So here's the non-Jouyou list I posted earlier but with some
vocabulary examples for each kanji. They're based on my personal
experience, so I may be wrong in some places -- also there are a few
kanji on the list I'm not familiar with so maybe someone else can fill
in some common words for those.
