My set cost about $350. I got through it in 10 months. I did
Pimsleur in my car during that year. Then I tried Jorden. Most of
her grammar explanations are superb and she emphasizes thinking in
the language. Not that Nakama does not. Makino was my teacher in
university during the last Ice Age and I guinea-pigged Nakama. But
I think Jorden gives him a great run for the money.
