Ok, what's wrong with any of those things being patented, keeping the
requirements of patentability in mind? Offhand, I'm not sure what you
are referring to with the "ditzy colors" remark.
I hasten to add that Amazon's One-Click, which has acheived "McDonald's
cofee lawsuit" as a rallying point against patent law, has been granted
patents by patent offices other than the USPTO, such as the European
Patent Office.
