And you can't figure out how to get Google to quote something of the
message you're replying to, I see. (Hint: Click on Show Options first.)

If you tell us which newsreader you are using, someone here is bound to
be able to help you. Presumably it's something more difficult that
selecting "Reply" or "Followup" from the menu.
